The Carleton Computer Security Lab (CCSL) consists of both the physical
laboratory (HP 5145) and the faculty and students actively engaged in
research within it. CCSL is the focal point of Carleton's Digital Security
Group, which explores fundamental security issues in networked information
systems, emphasizing research projects motivated by practical problems.
Directed by Paul Van Oorschot, the lab and group are possible largely
through the
Canada Research Chairs
program facilitating a renewable 7-year
research chair in Network and Software Security, and a corresponding
Canadian Foundation for Innovation
infrastructure grant which funded the establishment of the security research lab within
Herzberg Laboratories.
Directions to the Lab
The lab is located on the fifth floor of Herzberg Laboratories
(HP 5145, 13 on the campus map), near the intersection
of Campus Ave and University Drive. For directions to Carleton University,
